staff of holiday home villa Lovina beach Bali Indonesia Design by PaDesign

Holiday home Lovina-beach Bali IndonesiaVilla Lovina-beach has a permanent staff, as well as extra personnel if needed.

The permanent staff consists of (left to right, top photograph) Komang, the boatman, Komang the household help, Komang the gardener, Madé, housekeeper and cook and Komang the security. Komang is a much occurring name among our personnel.

Komang the boatman takes care of our boat and makes with the guests trips for snorkling, fishing, dolphin watching, sailing and motorboat trips.

Komang, the gardener, starts work early in the morning, cleaning the pool and looking after the large tropical garden.

Madé, second picture (r) is the most important contact for the guests and she speaks English well. Komang helps her when there are guests in the house. The activities of the housekeeper and her help are the cleaning, making the beds and cooking. They can also shop for groceries.

Madé and Komang are excellent cooks, both Asian and Western style. There is an extensive menu from which you can choose breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks. Your own suggestions are also possible, and of course guests are free to cook for themselves.

Komang, the security person arrives around 6 pm and leaves around 6 am. He stays by the villa’s entrance in the early part of the evening. Once the guests have gone to bed, he starts his regular rounds.

The staff work 6 days a week, approximately 8 to 10 hours per day. The security man is there 7 days a week. The free day is decided together with the guests. You can also decide the working hours with the staff. For example, if you want to eat out, then the staff’s working hours are 8 am to 4 pm. If you want to eat at home, then their working hours are 8 am to 2 pm and 4.30 pm to 7 pm. When Madé and Iloh arrive at the house at 8 am, they will already have bought any shopping you had requested the previous day.

Our staff live within walking distance from the house, about 20 minutes away. If you are interested in how they live, they will gladly invite you to their neighbourhood and home.

As well as the permanent staff, there are also a chauffeur and two masseuses available, who are paid for by the guests if they use their services.

Erik, (centre photograph), is our driver. He has a minivan which can transport 5-6 persons. For larger groups, a second car is necessary, and Erik will be happy to arrange this for you. Erik can pick up and return guests to the airport. He can also take you to Lovina or Singaraja and take guests for day trips or longer trips. Expenses for an entire day for one bus, including driver and fuel are IDR 500,000 (less than 40 Euros). For excursions of several days, IDR 150,000 is added per overnight stay.

Our masseuses Seri (l) and Iloh (r) can be seen in the next photograph. Seri can give a powerful massage, Iloh is somewhat calmer. A lovely oil-massage for an hour costs IDR 60,000 (about 5 Euro).

There is also a helpdesk available, which is run by a Dutch couple who live in the neighbourhood. They will come to meet you on one of the first days of your stay and they can help you with all kinds of information, also in cases of emergency.

In the direct surroundings there is a good doctor, Dr. Handra, who does home visits.
